SALT LAKE CITY 4TH 2020

After canceling our trip, we ended up visiting our son in Salt Lake City for July 4th weekend as originally planned. We wore masks and stayed at the hotel most of the time, other than being outdoors for walks. It’s not fun to travel right now, but we made the best of it.

The Grand America lobby always has a beautiful floral arrangement in the lobby, but this was my favorite and I’m not even a huge orchid fan. This arrangement changed my mind.

The courtyard at the hotel is immaculate, and the planters and sidewalks are always colorful and well-kept in downtown Salt Lake City. Here are a few photos from the hotel.

The temple is a short walk downtown, and as I’ve reported many times, it’s like a botanical garden.

The hanging baskets are unreal. . .

Coming from hot and humid Omaha, Salt Lake City was cool and sunny and gorgeous.

Hope everyone is staying safe! Happy July!
