NEW IN THE SHOP

After 5 years, I am getting more familiar with scouting at markets for my shop. I’ve been to NYNOW, Maison et Objet in Paris, AmericasMart in Atlanta, and most recently, Dallas Market. Dallas might be my favorite, and that’s saying a lot all things considered. After an exhausting opening day of shopping, I ended up in an Uber to the ER with a lil kidney stone!

Anyway, it is sometimes disappointing when I find really charming and pretty things I’d love to have in the shop, but some vendors have restrictions that don’t work for my small shop. Some vendors only sell to brick and mortar shops, or their minimum is too high, or they only sell in multiples. Although I do stock some smaller items, I am not set up to stock multiples of larger items, or a thousand of anything. However, I usually find a couple new vendors at every Market, and it is really fun to see what new things my current vendors are offering!

Reprotique is a vendor I have carried from the very beginning and I absolutely love the company. Susan Sprinkle, inspired by antique pieces, creates modern, unique pieces that are rooted in historically traditional elements of style. One of the very first things I found for the shop was this acrylic tray…

The above is a newer design, and the image below shows my collection of glassware on the clear version of the tray. This piece comes in two sizes and continues to be a bestseller in the shop.

Also comes in the Malachite design, and you can special order it in other designs they offer.

Here are a few examples of special orders. You can see even more of the designs in the trinket bowl collection. HERE

Speaking of trinket bowls, I’ve just added them to the shop. I’m thinking of the cherub or the intaglio for the condo in the Master Closet. Shop HERE

Here is a better look at the designs. . .

The placemats can also be special ordered in different designs. I just love them!

The coasters are another big seller for me. I have them, all my friends have them, my kids have them…

I’ve been over-posting newly acquired Lucy Cope Matchstrikers on my instagram stories recently. I can’t get over how gorgeous they are. Each one is a work of art. They are quite an investment, but they are truly the most exquisite and my most favorite accessory for any home.

Here are a few of them around my house…

I will be adding new product to the shop over the coming weeks, and hope to have everything up by October 1st for holiday shopping.

Next week, I’ll be posting about the Lauritzen Gardens Antiques Show here in Omaha! Look for a sneak peek on Wednesday evening, and then a few more posts highlighting dealers and the weekend.
