LGAS 2019
Over the past 10-15 years, I have become quite friendly with the dealers who set up shop year after year at the Lauritzen Gardens Antiques Show in Omaha. Some have been coming since the beginning, some have participated off and on, and each year there are a few new-comers. But every year, without fail, the booths offer new and exciting things. I love to walk from booth to booth, and visit with the dealers about their favorite pieces, where they found this, how they acquired that, and the rare quality or unique story that goes with a special find.
I always attend each day the Show is open, Thursday - Sunday, and every time I walk through, I find something new.. Sometimes, I’ll find things in the photos I take, and call to inquire about an item after the dealer has packed up and gone back home. There is so much to see!
That being said, here is a sneak peek into the Show. . . truly a glimpse of the reality.
The entrance of Lauritzen Gardens looks beautiful!
I think this year may have the most beautiful paintings ever!
Kelleher Fine Art
If you are looking for children’s chairs, there are quite a few options at the Show this year.
Here are some of the cutest!
I think these are fabulous!

These sterling silver goblets are to die for. Can you imagine them filled with flowers? Or wine :)
Those pillows!
Trace Mayer is back with lots of BEES!
They are mounted on a custom wallpaper Trace designed himself. He’s so cool.

This needlepoint chair was amazing! The back is as pretty as the front!
Barley Twist
Schorr & Dobinsky
Why do I love this camel so much?
This little bench is flanked by two adorable bear cubs!
The mums were absolutely gorgeous!
The dealers were all working hard getting their booths just right for the Preview Party, and I was not able to get good photos to share of every single booth. One of my favorites, not included in this post, is B. Viz Design and her breathtaking pillows. A newcomer this year, Covet by Christos, is also not included here, but has lots of amazing designer bags including Chanel, Hermes and the like.
Please plan to come down and walk through the Antiques Show! I will try to get some more photos and share some of the booths I missed this time around, but coming down and meeting the dealers in person is a real treat.
The speakers are en route from London and Paris and New York. It was a busy day at Lauritzen Gardens!
