CASA GUSTO & THE HIVE
The main reason for our trip to Palm Beach was to pick up the paper maché pieces from Casa Gusto. I saw them in the Designer Showhouse and ordered them in April, so I have waited a while for them. I made a special trip back to Florida pick them up. It’s such an easy trip from Naples, and it was a fun little getaway for my mom and I!
The flower beds on Worth Ave were gorgeous!
Everything is meticulously maintained but there’s still a tropical feel.
I told my mom we didn’t need to spend too much time in Casa Gusto since I had just been there a couple months before, but oopsie! It’s so beautiful and we couldn’t pull ourselves away. We walked around staring at everything trying to figure out where we could put different things.
Still dying over these painted frames and plan to have my botanical collection reframed and painted!
I have one of these tole flowers in my guest room. It’s such a perfect hostess gift!
I sell plates that have to be from the same vendor as the ones shown here. Great minds!
My husband won’t allow me to hang these until he is here to help me. I have a bad reputation for hanging things that look just fine when they are hung, but the war zone behind the artwork can be pretty upsetting and always an unwelcome surprise if the artwork is ever moved for any reason.
Also to consider: I bought them to go on either side of the TV, but they would also work in a couple other places, so just want to be sure before I get the hammer and nails out! Not sure how I feel about the gold frames in this room. They didn’t seem as bright in the store!
Also stopped in Hive Palm Beach to do a quick run through. Picked up some orchids for my SIL, and my mom got one too. They are excellent florists, and I love the arrangements they post on instagram.

Hive Palm Beach has grown to include quite an array of categories including place settings, linens, furniture, floral, men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, baby items, party goods, and pretty much anything else you can think of. It’s kind of like a department store!
You may have noticed my Baobab candles in my home and condo posts.. I adore them!
We had such a fun couple days! I honestly can’t remember the last time I went actual shopping with my mom! It’s been too long. Next time, we want to bring the boys. My dad would have LOVED the food. He is the literal opposite of my mom when it comes to menus. He has probably tried everything, and if he hasn’t, bring it on!
