bring spring

Bringing home batches of flowers is what gets me through the gloom of non-spring. When it's May and it's close to 30 degrees, and the sun is hidden for days at a time, I can sink into a bundle of doom.

Here's how I cope:

Tulips and freesia...

Tulips with yellow centers...

Coral roses...

Kalanchoe and ivy...

Begonia and campanula and ivy...

Fresh fruit also helps the situation...

I think I've made it. Although it's currently sleeting and snowing, sun and warm temps are in the forecast... May is here!

I'm off to the Kentucky Derby...
