The French Tangerine

France is a wonderful place to be during the fall. We have just returned and I have hundreds of photos to share.

First comes Paris. We spent only two days in Paris and packed in as much as we could. The photos reveal the cloudy skies, but the architecture and detail is not to be missed, even with a sprinkle of rain.

Day 1

We arrived early in the morning and thanks to a recommendation by my sister-in-law, we asked about the

Crillon Hotel, hoping it was nearby for a stroll.  We were delighted to find out it was just a 15 minute walk from our hotel, just down the Champs-Elysees...

We even popped inside to take a peek... very french!

We were also encouraged to have lunch at the Italian restaurant just across the street... Farnesina. (Yes, Italian. We had plenty of french food experiences planned...)

I love those lanterns!

Our first dinner was at Chez George a classic Parisian bistro ~ almost like going back in time... delicious and a real treat. The perfect beginning to our week in France!
