paris

France is a wonderful place to be during the fall. We have just returned and I have hundreds of photos to share.

First comes Paris. We spent only two days in Paris and packed in as much as we could. The photos reveal the cloudy skies, but the architecture and detail is not to be missed, even with a sprinkle of rain.

Day 1

We arrived early in the morning and thanks to a recommendation by my sister-in-law, we asked about the

Crillon Hotel, hoping it was nearby for a stroll.  We were delighted to find out it was just a 15 minute walk from our hotel, just down the Champs-Elysees...

A charming area indeed.

We even popped inside to take a peek... very french!

We were also encouraged to have lunch at the Italian restaurant just across the street... Farnesina. (Yes, Italian. We had plenty of french food experiences planned...)

I love those lanterns!

The painted ceiling at the restaurant...

The charm and detail in the city is extraordinary and outstanding and I loved every inch of it...

A memorable flower shop on our stroll...

I loved every single thing about this shop.

The Four Seasons Hotel ~ another beauty.

Our first dinner was at Chez George a classic Parisian bistro ~ almost like going back in time... delicious and a real treat. The perfect beginning to our week in France!

The view from our balcony...

Just outside our hotel...

The Arc de Triomphe

More shots down Champs Elysees...

More Paris coming up!
