Wedding Design Details

The details paid off! Not every guest noticed every detail, but there were enough details that each guest came away with something to appreciate, something to remember.

The lodge at Green Vally Ranch is where the bride and bridesmaids get ready, and has a Ralph-Lauren-mountain-retreat vibe.

The photographer had plenty of space to spread out which provided some great flat lay options.

The welcome bags were so fun to plan, and I witnessed several friends using their canvas bag this summer. The cookies, granola and pretzels were a few favorite snacks, and all were well received.

The welcome book from Happy Menocal might have been my favorite part of the entire wedding.

Adored all the details!

I will never get over the flowers. Kyle Robino really nailed the bridal bouquet for Hillary, and Darci was spot on with the bridesmaid bouquets. Love the light green silk ribbon also used for the invitations.

The porch was a gorgeous setting for photos.

Fun to remember these details that would have been forgotten otherwise….

Inside the tent was absolutely charming. Loved the chairs, which were a new option, and the antler chandeliers were one of the first elements we designated for the “look and feel” of the wedding.

Greenwood Events planned the long head table down the center of the room with the chandeliers overhead. Brilliant!

There’s the bar in the back, and you can see the cute oval table numbers here. Loved the heavy wood chargers with the chairs.

A few favorite details: the gorgeous pewter flatware, the Happy Menocal menu/place card, the antler napkin ring, the stag glasses, and a closer look at the oval table numbers.

This is taken from the dance floor with the double antler chandelier overhead.

Monogrammed napkins at the head table match the monogram on the cake!

Hillary’s dachschund Judith Leiber bag was pure joy!

A closer look at the bar with the Brunschwig and Fils Les Touches fabric inserts. Loved the florals! I think they foraged some of those larger gorgeous green branches from the Green Valley Ranch property.

The bears, the matchbooks and the cocktail menu…

My favorite cake table of all time!

The monogrammed cake was just for display. The individual mini cakes were for eating!

Casual seating spaces were a must.

More les touches fabric. Brought these pillows home for our summer patio seating!

That mountain backdrop doesn’t even look real!

Les touches fabric, and acrylic trays for the escort cards added some nice layering.

Again, loved the florals!!

Happy Menocal with the melon colors for the escort cards… perfection.

Oscar making his appearance on the matchboxes. He is the cutest!

The ceremony program!

Stag glassware at the bar…

The cloud coverage was welcome all day.

After dinner and dancing, the food trucks arrived serving up mini donuts and BBQ!

Mini milkshakes and chocolate covered strawberries were passed for late night guests.

Absolutely love a long summer day!

So appreciate the great photos before guests arrived. Of course, the guests are the most important part of the wedding, but it’s wonderful to see everything looking so perfect after the fact. Thank you, once again, to Steve Steinhardt!
