Spring Faves

Although I spent most of the winter in Florida this year, I still long for spring the minute I get home. Omaha experienced some frigid temps these last few months, plus a blizzard with winds bringing in sand from another storm. The exterior of our house was left with sort of a film of mud. We are happy about the rainy weekend and hoping for a good rinse!

Coming home from the lush green landscape and flora of Florida, it is really a stark contrast.

Inside, I tried to help the situation with plants here and there.

The circular pot above is from Lisa Sandner. I bought a few of them for the shop and they sold quickly, but I kept one for myself. I adore it! I received a few new Lisa Sandner pieces a few days ago, and they have been flying out the door.

Love the tulip vase and flower boxes from Laura Winstone for spring…

We are featuring a new line of kitchen towels from Italy and I love the embroidery on the stripes. Very fresh…

My husband has been teasing me about my fascination with hens. They are featured on the kitchen towels, and I became obsessed with these Staffordshire hens and bought quite a few for the shop. There are several still in stock!

Nothing brightens up a room quite like a gorgeous matchstriker! I have plenty of colors in stock with more on the way!

Louise Kaye has perfectly prepared us for spring and summer with these butterfly and flower themed ceramic platters and votives.

Cheerful and happy, the colors are like candy. She also uses 24k gold accents giving the pieces a little extra flair…

These little butterfly bowls are the absolute cutest of all time.

Museum bees are the perfect spring accent for any space. Continuously updating new inventory every week!

Bee careful, they are addicting!

Adore the lion and intaglio soaps… The perfect hostess gift! A nice update for any powder bathroom - and they smell wonderful!

Plenty of charming greeting cards!

And lots of French pottery in stock for spring and summer entertaining!

The greens in these gorgeous vases from Barry Stedman hint at brighter days ahead. Modern and updated…

Another great green in the house! Love this ginormous jug - perfect for branches from the yard for an amazing arrangement.

I have 3 shells from my last shipment still available with LOTS more on the way. I have an exciting announcement coming up about Shellegance! I will have an exclusive line coming this Spring, and I can’t wait to share the details!

Also have some darling shell magnets in the shop, also from Shellegance.

Speaking of shells, check these out!

Those vibrant colors reminded me of these beautiful and unusual Chinese vases! I adore the dots and stripes!

Always working to keep the cricket cage inventory in good standing!

You guys, I have SO MANY Czech Christmas Trees for our Christmas in July event. I found a new vendor and have over 100 trees to share with you! Many of them are antique and incredibly unique… I think this is the best batch yet! So excited to get that going.

Many of you saw this bag I posted on instagram and asked about it. It’s from Desmalter in Paris and the handpainted tangerine is absolute perfection! (Some of my brand artwork from Happy Menocal)

Exciting News: In conjunction with and benefitting the Lauritzen Gardens Antiques & Garden Show, you can order Desmalter bags in different colors with custom art by Laurie Victor Kay!

Here are green and brown ~ Obsessed.

Laurie Victor Kay is doing custom artwork for this joint effort, and was instrumental in getting this project off the ground. How lucky to have her artistic eye involved in this project!

Please message me if you are interested, and I’ll send you the contact info to order.

So excited about this collaboration benefitting the Lauritzen Gardens Antiques & Design Show!

I am heading back to Florida to spend some time with family for most of April!

Happy Spring!
