OCTOBER VIBES
What a drizzly day in Omaha, Nebraska. It’s dark and wet, and there’s a chill in the air. The weather app says 43 degrees, but “feels like” 35 degrees. I don’t know about you, but if it feels like 35 degrees, it is 35 degrees. Perfect stitching weather :)
I am in the mood for this weather. I love how green everything is against the dark, wet bark.
My summer plants are hanging on, and a few fall plants have replaced the dead ones…
Loved seeing the fall decor surprises here and there while out making local deliveries today..
I have a much easier time with the dark and cold weather when there are still green leaves and flowers.
These cushions aren’t going to last much longer. We’ll probably haul them downstairs this weekend. I leave a couple ivy plants out every year, and watch them turn orange and rust. They seem to stay alive much longer than I think they will.
Hope you are enjoying your fall.
I do love the change of seasons, but only enjoy winter for a month or two. Then I will be ready for Florida!
Oh! Remember I ordered a present painting from Karen Appleton? Well it’s on the way and I can’t wait to see it in person. Can’t decide if I will keep it in Omaha, or take it to Naples. Isn’t it wonderful?
