This shower is literally the reason I wanted to stay at this hotel. The Greydon House is also home to a restaurant we love, Via Mare. The bed linens are John Robshaw and Frette. But the bathrooms have hand painted Portuguese and Moroccan tile walk in showers, with Waterworks fixtures, and I literally have never enjoyed taking a shower as much as I did on this vacation.

I posted videos in my stories of the shower and the bed linens about 5 minutes after we arrived. I was very excited about seeing all of the above in person.

Check out this post of her kitchen showing off the honey from her garden. The tile in the background is all I could see, but regardless, she is one to follow.

The hotel is located downtown right in the heart of Nantucket. We walked everywhere, except when we were driving the jeep to the beaches. There are darling shops and galleries, restaurants, bike shops, and of course the wharf where the boats are docked.

We stopped in Samuel Owen Gallery and I fell in love with these bookscapes by Max Steven Grossman. They are photographs mounted on acrylic, and so modern! I want to get rid of my bookcases at home and hang one of these instead. (Excuse the lighting reflection on the acrylic…)

There was a darling shop, Erica Wilson, that had a needlepoint section in the back. I wanted this Nantucket canvas to stitch, but would it be weird to have a Nantucket pillow in a Naples condo? They had several color combos calling my name!

I should have taken pics of the charming storefronts, and more pics of the hotel! I was exhausted after taking all the pics of the trees and landscaping, I guess.

Oh, I almost forgot another fun outing. Bartlett’s Farm is Nantucket’s oldest and largest family owned farm. Many of the restaurants on the island get their produce from Bartlett’s. We walked through the garden center, but the market was especially fun. The groceries are bright examples of their fruits and vegetables, but the deli was over the top! We got a selection of ready-to-eat sandwiches and salads, prepared foods, and their famous “raw salad” which consisted of cashews, chopped broccoli and cauliflower, cranberries, grapes, mayo, vinegar, red onion and celery. IT WAS DELICIOUS. I can’t even tell you how crazy I was over this salad. I’m going to attempt to make it at home at some point.

As you can probably gather from the past six posts, we love Nantucket! I’ve enjoyed all the messages I have been receiving about planned trips, and fond memories.
