CASA GUSTO
Off the beaten path, Casa Gusto was on my list to visit thanks to their gorgeous instagram account. I am such a fan! When I recognized some of their products on instagram posts of the Kips Bay Designer Show House, they moved to the top of my list for our Palm Beach visit.
The shop is like a warehouse of wonderful, and I immediately started snapping photos.
I fell in love with these painted frames. I have admired them on their instagram account, but seeing them in person was even better. I have a set of botanicals with very traditional and boring frames and I have a strong inclination to call my friend Andy Moore to give them a fun and fancy facelift!
Here they are on display at the Kips Bay Show House entry.
And in the upstairs hallway. . .
And here are some GORGEOUS images from Casa Gusto’s instagram account, @getthegusto. The hand-painted whimsical designs are pure charm. I am obsessed with them. How brilliant!! I am 100% going to try and copy this idea for my personal collection. Stay tuned for updates on that project.
Another Casa Gusto favorite are these framed paper mache works of art.
What a perfect combination of artistry and entrepreneurial spirit. I have purchased the pair from the Show House and they will be perfect at the condo.. Will report back when they arrive and are hung. OBSESSED.
I adore the pastel ribbons.
Here are a few more gorgeous things to be found in the shop. . .
Dying for this chair!
And here are a few shots from the Kips Bay Show House featuring Casa Gusto.
The fabric on the bench is Pierre Frey and I’m in love with it!
You’ll recognize the green pottery bowls from the shop, but check out the paper mache leaves on the handmade vine! The vision for this entry hall was remarkable. The addition of the paneling was so smart, and that paint color is divine.
There’s that fabric again.
The paper mache flowers are also a la Casa Gusto! I brought one back to the condo.
Absolutely loved my visit. Will keep you posted on the painted frames for the prints, and the installation of the paper mache framed pieces.
