This is the last post from our trip to France...

Shortly after our arrival in Paris, we took a train to Avignon. Although our ultimate goal was to get to Apt, to visit my beloved aptware artisan, we enjoyed the day in Avignon before venturing out in our rental car.

Hotel d'Europe was fabulous and charming...

Avignon was charming. Apt was also wonderful, but no pics to share... 

Back to Paris!

We didn't have reservations for dinner when we arrived back in Paris, so we asked the concierge to help us. We requested something close by, within walking distance, casual but delicious food.

We walked right down the street, as instructed, and searched and searched for the restaurant, Cafe de L'Homme. We were standing in front of a museum confused and looking around. Finally we realized the restaurant was IN Musee de L'Homme. The view of the Eiffel Tower has to be one of the best in the city.

The lights flash like a disco ball on the hour generating lots of excitement from the crowd...

Walking the streets of Paris...

Um.. Look at the bottom of the rotisserie chickens! POTATOES! OMG! With the juice dripping on them?

On the rooftop of the Peninsula, there is a very special restaurant, L'Oiseau Blanc, with breathtaking views!

Chicken Ravioli with Sautéed Chanterelle Mushrooms... TO DIE FOR.

This was a fish special.. I can't remember the details, but how about those little pearl onions with the flowers?

 Amazing...
