Ok, back to Chicago. Had to get my April tablescape in before the month was over! Now it is May, and I can continue with my weekend in Chicago...
If you follow me on instagram, you already know about my fixation with the spring flowers planted on Michigan Ave. They are spectacular!
I mean seriously.
Spent a day at the Merchandise Mart exploring textiles and such... working on a major project coming this fall!
Samuel & Sons Passementerie An amazing resource for tassels, trim, braids, bullion, and much more!
Loved seeing some of my favorite fabrics in person...

And a visit to one of my favorite shops of all time, John Rosselli.

Boxes and hurricanes were a definite theme...
Another favorite showroom: Holly Hunt.
Here are a few favorite pieces from Dennis & Leen and Formations...
Between the intense cleaning at Hillary's apartment, the Chicago Antique Show on Friday, and the Mercandise Mart on Thursday, we walked and walked and walked some more. I stopped to snap the endless plantings of flowers around the Hancock Building...
A few more shots from the Antiques Show at Chicago Botanic... The entrance was spectacular...
And here are a few more shots from walking through the city...
I just love Chicago!
