flower magazine
For me, Pinterest has been a constant source for floral inspiration...
I especially love flowers that are packed in tight like this...
and this...
That last image reminds me of this recent flower arrangement...
I'm lucky to have Kyle Robino of Old Market Habitat as a dear friend... For the next arrangement, I asked her to skip the leaves - more flowers! She is seriously the best.
I continue to fantasize about being a florist. I bet Margot Shaw, founder and editor of flower magazine, must have felt the same way at some point, and look at her now!
I hereby declare flower magazine one of my favorite discoveries from 2014, and my newest source for floral inspiration. This image is from an advertisement in the latest publication.
Would love to copy these flowers for a party.
Here are a few additional highlights from the same February 2015 edition...
A charming collection of adorable dogs modeling floral collars by floral designer Holly Carlisle.
Cake creations by a collection of confectionery artists...
A fabulous wedding with an abundance of roses and plenty of lush details...
A plethora of dreamy images to inspire and a great deal more. Dare I say enough inspiration to get me through the winter months.
I had the pleasure of meeting Margot Shaw when she was in Omaha for the Lauritzen Gardens Antique & Garden Show last September. What an impressive lady! She is a lover of life and a super-smart business woman. She is relatable and genuine ~ the real deal. I adore her and her magazine.
