amazing garden tour 2

Utah was calling us back.  Our recent quick trip was full of amazing scenery and relaxation...

I mean seriously, the scenery is majestic…

I couldn't wait to return to Temple Square to see what they replaced all the spring bulbs with! (see this post if you missed it for the most spectacular display…)

Although I prefer the spring bulbs, I was still in awe of the new summer plantings...

What? Impatiens? What about the fungus? Wonder if they'll last all summer?

We peeked in one of the buildings... Mind you, this is a business building, not a religious building. Check out the stained glass ceiling!

And this orchid arrangement was fab...

Here's the arrangement from our hotel… We could literally smell the lilies outside the hotel!

This was a view from our balcony… Looks like Harry Potter, doesn't it?

If you are going to be in Salt Lake City, you should make every effort to eat at Valter's Osteria. It's absolutely fabulous…

This is Valter. His exuberant personality is a huge part of the restaurant experience. He raves about his mother's recipes… and you will too! All meals are prepared table side providing an added level of entertainment, and the food is exceptional...

More charm from downtown SLC...

Another building from our walk through the gardens at Temple Square...

And of course, the Temple...

What a beautiful weekend...
