Just spent the weekend in Chicago attending the Chicago Antique and Garden Show!

Trace Mayer is one of our favorite dealers at the Omaha Antique and Garden Show so it was especially fun to see him in Chicago... And what a surprise he had for us!

Check it out...

Antique gilt frame fragments (circa 1860-1880) are used to showcase tiny, charming gilt brass ornaments (mostly bees) in the center.

Charming, smart and best of all, these little works of art are affordable. Prices range from $40 - $80 each. I love the small gold ones above for tabletop ~ one at each place setting as a takeaway would be a lovely addition to a special dinner party. I just love those little octagons!

What a brilliant idea... and no surprise at all coming from such a talented and endearing source... Trace Mayer never ceases to amaze. Visit his website here..
