inspired home: elizabeth

I could not be more excited about sharing this home with you ~ inside and out! Elizabeth is the author of one of my all-time favorite blogs, Pretty Pink Tulips. Hers is one of the first blogs I found and followed, and truly, she was an inspiration to me as I started my own blog. I met her in person while visiting Greenwich, CT at an Eddie Ross pop-up shop and was thrilled to find she was as lovely and charming as I had imagined.

I have been thinking it was time for another inspired home. I had a few in mind to pursue, but when my friend Tina at The Enchanted Home turned up with this post on Elizabeth's home, a light bulb went off... an aha moment occurred. Thank you to both of you for the inspiration and the consent for me to put together this inspired home post!

Get ready for some beautiful inspiration!

It truly doesn't get more charming than this...

Fabulous lanterns!

Those pretty pink tulips in front are Elizabeth's "signature" and she sees them as a metaphor for finding each person's signature voice in fashion, style, decor and life.

I loved gathering exterior photos of this home ~ talk about street appeal!

You'll notice some of these images show the old front door color, a beautiful light mint green, and some show the new black. I can't decide which I like better...

Take a look at the home dressed for holidays...

Here you'll see the "before" color door, and windows with no shutters...

Gorgeous landscaping!

And here you'll see the "after" door color and added shutters on the windows...

Straight out of a storybook!

The charm and sophistication continues inside...

In love with the pillow shown here...

I actually saved this image of Elizabeth's desk from an old post... I adore the ghost chair!

Attention to detail? Check.

The kitchen is perfectly bright and cheery.

Love the symmetry of this image... the lamps are awesome.

I'm a complete copycat when I see something I love. I literally want this exact rug going up my stairs. I'm really hoping this can happen for me. It's perfect isn't it?

Elizabeth shares some of her entertaining expertise on her blog, and her readers, myself included, listen to every single word...

Look how precious!

I can only imagine how crazy I would go with my own camera!

Isn't this a wonderfully clever idea? Inspired homes shared a whole new way. I didn't take a single photo but was able to share this lovely home and provide inspiration to thousands of visitors! I am just thrilled with this new concept.

Again, thank you to Tina for inspiring me to try a long distance idea, and especially to Elizabeth, for your constant inspiration and your willingness to share your lovely home.
