chain reaction
When I get something new it very often sets off a chain reaction.
My master bedroom above has been going through a series of updates... a perfect example of this string of decor changes I speak of. And my family room has also experienced the same succession of events as evidenced in my last post...
Additionally, my dining room recently set off a major chain reaction. It began with these lovely Italian brackets from Horsley Antiques. I've always wanted something on either side of the window, to satisfy the part of my brain that loves symmetry, and when I saw these, I knew they would be perfect.
I do love them... Of course they'll need a pair of something wonderful to go on top :)
Previously, this barometer hung on the left side of that dining room window. It's now in my living room on the windows looking out to the patio...
This piece used to be on the living room windows and is now in the hallway from kitchen to dining room...
These prints used to be in on the right side of the dining room window, and are now in the back hall bathroom....
All this moving around inspired me to spruce up the plant situation...
Finally got this chair covered in a charming Charles Faudree fabric from Vervain. Andy Moore also painted the chair... a major improvement!
Compared to the dark wood and brown mohair fabric here, it's definitely a snazzy upgrade...
I have a big surprise coming soon... another Ira Yeager painting! Can't wait to share the details!
