The French Tangerine

First things first... Today is my 24th wedding anniversary! Thanksgiving weekend has always been a special time of year for us. Happy Anniversary Babe!

Laguna Beach won the contest for our Thanksgiving vacation location, and the posts should display nicely the intense beauty we encountered ~ such fun we had!

This post is actually from a day spent in Beverly Hills. Devoted to our daughter, this day of shopping was highlighted by lunch at The Ivy. Her intentions were clear as celebrity sightings are common, and paparazzi are frequently seen camped out across the street waiting and hoping.

Although no celebs were seen, what a nice surprise awaited us. I got a few photos, most taken from my seat just before the room filled, but scroll through the photos from their website ~ absolutely gorgeous and charming! (here)

The charm begins with a white picket fence and lots of ivy ~ a romantic atmosphere with patio and terrace dining.

There are also rooms inside full of rustic french antiques and spectacular flowers. In fact, it's difficult to distinguish between restaurant, florist, or antique shop...

Almost looks like a movie set despite the waiters buzzing back and forth... I had great timing!

In addition to the brilliant surroundings, the extensive menu was impressive, and everything we ordered was delicious. The Ivy is a new favorite and highly recommended.
