Sometimes, the best arrangements are the leftovers from another arrangement... or two.

Recently, I received a lovely, quite large bouquet of flowers from a dear friend which I enjoyed immensely for a few days. Soon enough, as is often the case, a few flowers faded before others, resulting in a messy looking arrangement, and spoiling the live ones that remained. I often gather the live leftovers and although I may not choose that particular combination of flowers when creating an arrangement, sometimes, it's a nice surprise. 

In this case, the bright colors, mixed with my leftovers from July 4th, were beautiful!

A few days later, even fewer flower leftovers... still pretty!
