The French Tangerine

bitchin' kitchen

There is this house that I'm completely obsessed with. It's one of those houses that is gorgeous on the outside, gorgeous on the inside, gorgeous in the front, gorgeous in the back, just plain gorgeous. I am friendly with the owners, have been to their Holiday party, but not like BFF's. (However, after my visit, I would totally be game to travel with this woman... she's funny and easy-going, has impeccable taste, and doesn't take herself too seriously...) I was a bit apprehensive about requesting a photo shoot. To my delight, she responded positively. (However, I'm pretty positive the main factor in her agreeing to this photo session was the strong possibility of witnessing me wetting my pants with excitement. I proudly informed her of this possibility in my request email. Trust me, this house is wet-your-pants-worthy... beyond really... but we won't go there.)

Now, I could have taken hundreds of photos. Hundreds. But as it turns out, this gal is a bit more private than I was anticipating... I'll keep working on her, but for now, she gave me one room. I chose the kitchen.

But first, can I please show you this precious angel!

Oh dear Lord, he is about the cutest thing I've ever seen!

On to the kitchen...

My favorite are the copper panels on the island with the dancing pigs. SO charming! They have shelves behind for storage...

The sun was pouring in from the magnificent backyard... Those french doors couldn't be prettier!

Such a warm and cozy space!

Although I am so grateful for the opportunity to share this "bitchin' kitchen" it leaves me yearning for more...

I have been granted access to the outside for a photo session come Spring. WAIT until you see the beauty!

With sincere thanks,
