Remember my post on the awesome Laurie Victor Kay? Refresh your memory here... I obviously have a crush on her. One of my favorite things about Laurie is her adorable relationship with her husband, Charles Kay Jr. Their story is a remarkable one and told in their own words, with a bit of whimsy... here.

Charles is a celebrated artist. I am in love with his series, Paris Still Lifes. Charles and Laurie are no strangers to Paris. The Parisian landscape has been a continuous inspiration to the pair. Through their artwork, their brilliant interpretation of this lovely city is realized.

Their fine art pieces are housed in public and private collections all over the world. With an abundance of awards, celebrity clients aplenty, and exotic travel a constant pull... I know what you're thinking... glamour central, right? They may appear that way to the untrained eye, but when you know them, you know that despite their unmatched sense of style and sophistication, they are wonderfully regular. They adore their children and each other. They work hard and volunteer. They are fun-loving and deep thinkers. It's truly a pleasure calling them my friends.
