So for any of you interested in the chandelier story, you'll remember, we were waiting for the info on the Dallas chandelier. It turned out to be very gold in color, the size wasn't quite right, and it looked 'newer' than I expected. There was a bigger size available, and it was gorgeous! But it was huge ~ 60' x 60' ~ not the right size for my Living room at all.  So, Dallas chandelier = disappointment.

While waiting, I found another one that I absolutely love, LOVE.

I think this one is really spectacular.  It's the perfect size, the perfect color, and it looks old. However, it isn't wired.  I'm not sure I have the patience/knowledge/resources to get this wired and set up with the real wax candles, etc.  Now, I'm waiting to hear back to see what it would cost to have it rewired there before shipping it here.

You'll remember the other option I was considering was this reproduction...

It's already wired and has the wax candles, but it doesn't have the same flair as the previous one.  When I don't have an obvious winner, it's easy to put the chandelier folder to the bottom of the pile.  

My husband, who has recently started to check my blog, just informed me that getting electricity to the chandelier could be a problem and possibly a nightmare.  He's having an electrician stop by tomorrow.  Yay! I love when he has the electrician stop over.  We're moving in the right direction!
